Consists of family trees and genealogical information compiled from and created by many different individuals, documenting the history of many important Jewish families who have lived, and whose descendants are still living, in the American West. Joseph Krieger was born on 9 May 1881, in Austria. He was married to Amalie Wohlfieler (3 Aug. 1885-20 June 1980). The couple came to San Francisco during their honeymoon, in 1906, and never returned to Austria. In 1917, the couple invented the tea bag for use in hotels.
